From its beginnings, Dover Insulation has been dedicated to quality workmanship and the best service and product in the industry. William E. Dover started the company in 1965 and established a tradition of honest service that has brought the company healthy growth for nearly six decades, boasting satisfied customers all over the United States, and in Mexico, Honduras, and Puerto Rico. His father, Harry T. Dover, began in 1915 as an apprentice with a contractor involved in commercial and industrial insulation, then went on to a 50-year career in the trade, as apprentice, foreman, field superintendent, and ultimately, as an independent contractor.

Dover Work from the early 1970s

Utilizing an extensive background and training in the industry and a degree in business from Western Carolina University, William Dover established a reputation for expertise and impeccable customer service. He remained the sole owner for nearly 40 years, bringing a wealth of knowledge and skill, as well as a remarkable attention to detail, to the company. Mr. Dover put great stock in the trust and satisfaction of each customer, and his name continues to be synonymous with top-notch work. Today his daughter, Laura Dover, and the knowledgeable, experienced staff continue his legacy. We are eager to assess your insulation needs and to determine which materials and techniques are best-suited for your job. Our mission since 1965 has been to do first-class work on schedule and to deliver exceptional value and customer service, regardless of the size or scope of the job.
